Panic Grips Yadadri After Yadagirigutta Temple Priests, Staffers Test COVID Positive

Tension gripped Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple after 30 members of the staff tested positive for Coronavirus.  The news has created panic among devotees and the locals. The officials are now conducting Coronavirus tests and taking all preventive measures. In view of the situation, officials said that pujas would be held only inside the temple for three days.

Temple EO Geeta Reddy told that a decision had been made to suspend the services at the temple from Sunday. She also clarified that only short darshans will be allowed for devotees.

It is being alleged that the temple authorities did not follow corona rules during the Yadadri Brahmotsavam. Temple staff are said to have been infected with COVID due to non-compliance with rules during the celebrations.
